Hyperlinks in the forum

I noticed that since Friday, posted links from the DVDTalk forum any thread lost the title of the thread. What I mean is that since like 2 years ago, when someone posted a link to a DVDTalk thread on any other thread, it would automatically convert the link into the title of the thread being referenced. For example this

http://forum.dvdtalk.com/forum-feedb...questions.html

would have shown as this automatically.

Yet, it did and I thought it was a great improvement of the forum in general. But now is not working at all.

Re: Hyperlinks in the forum

I am told that, for security reasons, it was necessary to "patch some core files [.... ] and it looks like the patch broke it".

The intention is to "upgrade vbseo to fix this" but that won't happen for a little while.

I would say that it's best simply to wait until this small bit of newish functionality returns, rather than anyone holding their breath/posting reminders, because the likelihood is that various other higher priority items need to be attended to first.

But it is on the radar.

And the to-do list.
