I tried uploading a new avatar (it's 16k and 100x100, so that isn't the issue), but despite it showing up in my CP, I still see my old Black Dynamite avatar next to my posts.

I don't know what the issue is from the information given. Can you try to switch to a different image to see if it's a problem with that specific image?

Changed it to "Mitchell!" and, still, the same problem. If you click on my profile it looks like the picture is visible from there, but its still "Black Dynamite" on the mini-statistics box.

I think you're changing your Profile Picture ( http://forum.dvdtalk.com/profile.php?do=editprofilepic ) rather than your Avatar ( http://forum.dvdtalk.com/profile.php?do=editavatar ). They're two different fields.

Yeah, that was my problem. I feel really dumb now, but thanks for sorting that out.
