cant view last page of threads?
 

sometimes ill goto newest post of a thread and itll take me to the 2nd to last page (since thats where i last left off), but when i try to click on next page, itll take me to the same page i was on! this keeps repeating so i cant view the last page.

has this happened to anyone else before? how do i fix it?

This happens to me often.

It's been discussed here before. IIRC, the explanation of the cause had something to do with deleted posts. I don't recall a fix being mentioned.

It is annoying. I've clicked to go to the next page and read several posts before realizing that I'd read them before. :doh:

You aren't missing anything. It happens when someone creates a post that would be a new page for you (a 41st post of a thread, or 81st, etc; depending on your posts per page setting), but then deletes the post.

Although this isn't a new thing, it seems to me like it's been happening a lot more frequently than it used to. A little annoying but not a big deal.
