Change poll from public to private?

I didn't want to start a thread, but i reported the question 2x to no avail. I was hoping to change the poll in "Watchmen" Reviews Thread to private since movie 1.5 days away. Thanks in advance.

"report to mod" not working?
 

I've noticed that "report to mod" requests seem to be going nowhere lately. Either they are slipping thru the cracks or I'm on ignore.

I email or PM a mod directly if something is important.

How about changing the default option for polls to public, instead of private? I've mistakenly selected private a couple of times, much to my (minor) chagrin. If it's a poll concerning films, there's really no reason to make it private.

it seems that when i vote in a public poll, i can no longer see who voted for what. i see it before i pick and then after, nothing.

is this supposed to happen?

since it does it that way i imagine it's the way it's suppose to be. as far as i can see, built into the forum (without adding a hack in or something) there's no option to change that.
