is there a way to superscript? i tried <SUP>superscript</SUP> but to no avail.

edit...wait it worked. but, why can't i do this same thing in my signature?

You can use HTML in the body of your posts but not in your sig.

I've seen [SUP] as a vBCode tag on other forums, so presumably it's either standard in a later version of the software or a tag that's easily added in.
