Not only I do not want to see the movie, I do not even want to open the webpage anymore. Last night, I opened the website to take a look at the weekly deals and it scared the hell out of me. I came to complain about this and I will close the website and won't open it at least for a while.

noscript=your friend. I know its against TOS, but seriously I think that IB would rather have me browsing then not browsing.

Exactly. Don't these geniuses understand that annoying fucking ads will make many people completely ignore the site's TOS? Brilliant marketing idea!

That's become standard practice around here for me given the number of these types of ads that rotate through here.

It's a good ad. It caught my attention, and I even purposely expanded it and watched it the first time I saw it. Even thought about getting the DVD after that...

But. The. Ad. Is. So. Freakin'. Relentless. And. It's. On. Every. Single. Page. And. Opens. At. Random. At. The. Slightest. Provocation.

I'm tired of seeing it every time I open a new page here and my initial interest in seeing the DVD has long gone away. Let someone else have a turn at the banner ads for a change. If it was in a rotation with 8-12 other ads, I wouldn't mind it (as much).

FYI: I have only blocked the sound and not the image. I think this is a healthy compromise.

Man, this is worse than the Texas Chainsaw Massacre ad campaign of '03.

It does seem bugged...

That's it I'm done here until this ad is gone.

I hate rollovers but that's a good idea, rotate them and it wouldn't be quite so annoying. I did let it expand and watched it, but now what little interest I had in this movie is gone.

This might actually be worse than those ads for "Jesus Camp" a while back. Man I got sick of that quick...

To whom is may concern (if anyone at IB ever listens):

Half of your user base probably installed Ad Blockers because of this one. Way to go!

Hey mods, does IB have a support email address for DVDTalk that can be made public?

I guess I should consider myself lucky. I've yet to even see the offending ad. I do get an empty black square on the page that is flash, but nothing ever happens. Mac/Safari

The film is French, right? Shouldn't they have given into our demands by now?

Spoiler:
Yes, I hate myself for that joke.

That's still in the TOS? Even after that google ad that kept infecting people with a trojan last year?

Jeez...

Yeah, I was going to say the same thing: I've never bothered with an adblocker, but I'm going to now...

In the meantime, I've had to just hit my laptop's mute button every time I come to DVDTalk. Too annoying.
