Google Banner Ad Not Formatted
 

well the title says it...

since today the Google banner text ads are vertically formatted, not horizontally...

the bleed onto the forum format... only happens sometimes...

We think we've remedied this. There was some magic going on in the Apache webserver that serves our AdSense style parameters, and it was serving the CSS that formats the ads as a different MIME type than text/css.

In layman's terms, when our webserver was sending people's browsers the file that tells your browser how to display the ads, the webserver was pretty much telling your browser "this is a video file" rather than "this is the file you should use to figure out how to display the ads". Naturally, browsers had some problems coping with that.
