Re: Email notification not working
Fwiw, it was only down for about 12 hours for me. I usually never go more than 15 minutes without at least one notification. Perhaps it was a yahoo glitch.

Re: Email notification not working
Not working well the last few days.

Re: Email notification not working
I get emails but they seem to be delayed by days.
|
Re: Email notification not working
I was starting to wonder if I was the only one getting email delays. I have been having the problem for over a week now. Initially I was getting emails about 8 to 10 hours after a post. Now it seems the emails are getting slower and fewer.

Re: Email notification not working
Same here... its been happening for months. Got notification almost 36 hours after the fact.

Re: Email notification not working
I'll look into it.

Re: Email notification not working
There is a delay in email notifications due to an email server issue. Tech is working to resolve it as soon as possible.

Re: Email notification not working
Mine are coming in with about a 12 hour delay today.

Re: Email notification not working
I'll alert tech, thank you

Nothing for a couple days now.

Re: Email notification not working
Seems like I'm getting the email notifications. Have not noticed any problems or delays.

Re: Email notification not working
I got one for this. Haven't had an issue. Sure you didn't accidentally hit cancel all on that link in an email?

But I don't think I did. Subscribed threads still show on my user CP page. |
Re: Email notification not working
Trevor, I checked your account and the category "Automatic Thread Subscription Mode" is set to Instant email notification. I would check your spam. One of my emails is a yahoo account and yahoo likes to throw some notifications into spam randomly sometimes. I tell it not spam and it's ok for a while, but then it changes it's mind again.

i don't think the iOS mail client has a 'not spam' button. I'll have to turn on my PC for a change. |
Re: Email notification not working
I'm not getting emails for most of my subscriptions now. Just recently started happening. They're all "Instant", and they aren't being sent to my spam folder. Worked like a champ a a week ago.

Also, if you are using yahoo or AOL they will sometimes block out emails... |

The email notice for this post of yours just arrived, some 22 hours after it was posted. That's not a DNS problem.
You have been sent test emails. Do you have them? Keep in mind there are about 100 places between our mail server and your eyes where email can slow or disappear, and it's not always going to be possible to find out why. I recommend you switch to a gmail address and see what happens. |
