New search feature?
 

Like 10 minutes ago I used the old search to find a thread, now wanted to search again and its a google search is this new, a test, or was it always there and I'm an idiot.

It's been there a while.

The search in the toolbar at the top takes you to the google search, while the drop downs for search this forum in the corners of the forums/threads go to the forum search.

The google search is generally much better in my experience, as it doesn't have all the limitations of the forum search.

Thats what I thought but I never used the search from the dropdown didn't even know it was there until now. When I used it earlier it was at the top. I normally agree with google being better, but if for instance I wanted to search for want list in dvd exchange the google one is not useful at all. But since the dropdown is still there I will use that.

We're all about choice :)

Wow - I never knew about the google search option. I've always used the dropdown.
