Hot coworker needs help moving in... Ideas?:rip:

:scratch2: Where the hell did it go? I tried searching it here but nothing showed up. I then went to boardtracker.com and found it listed but there was no thread to be found. http://www.boardtracker.com/search/?...boardid=&for=0

I even searched for all threads created up the aftermath and still nothing. So did he delete it? The last I read she kept moving back the moving date. So what happened?

I need closure. :sad:

I can view the thread, but there's something wrong with the forum. It almost looks as if it was deleted, but it didn't delete, but won't let me restore it.. There appears to be nothing I can do to bring it back. Geoff has no idea either. Sorry..

I couldn't give a rat's ass about the renewed thread... but I am curious about this "MySQL wizardry" that you mention. Any chance you'd be willing to let us peak behind the scenes of your genius?

If I were really a genius, I would've been able to fix that thread without going through the following steps :D, but:

1) Created a test thread directly through the forum

2) Moved all of the posts from the previous thread to the new one (UPDATE post SET threadid=471743 WHERE threadid=465799; )

3) Updated the new thread to include some of the fields from the previous one (UPDATE thread SET title='Hot coworker needs help moving in... Ideas?', lastpost=1150417556, postusername='the aftermath', postuseri d= 41956, lastposter='criptik28', dateline=1147893573, views=13888, firstpostid=7009664, forumid=9 WHERE threadid=471743; )

4) Went back to the forum and deleted the post I made to create the test thread.

i.e. adam is smarter than me and has access to do things I can't do :)

Interesting. The reviewer has more powers than the admin.

Well, just because I have direct access to the database for some of the other work I do on the site.

Adam can program/write neat little things, etc.
