A pretty lame assumption and comment concidering it had 25 previous posts that had no problems.If it was such a bad topic, why was it let go so long and allowed so many posts.I am quite sure many other MODS/ADMINS saw it previous to PILOT.

Not asking to open it back up.Just adding my opinion on a lame call.
As far as I am concerned, it was making people aware of bootleggers trying to trick them into thinking they are buying legit movies.I see no harm in that at all.

I did appreciate you educating me somewhat on this. I do feel it is possible to discuss bootlegs without promoting the purchase of them. I want to be informed about how slick they're becoming, so I don't repeat mistakes I've made in the past of purchasing them off Ebay.

I'd have to agree. I guess the problem with this type of thing is that the discussion can only go so far. That may be what the mods are looking at.

There were people who started to write how they support bootlegs and/or buy them.. Since bootleg threads never turn out well.. I closed it..I'll open it up, for now..

Why not delete the offending posts rather than closing threads entirely.

That is what we usually do, but bootleg threads always end up closed in the long run..so just closed it.
