Closed topic.. why?
Topic: Ebay bootleggers, pulling trickery ?
Link : http://forum.dvdtalk.com/showthread.php?t=468704 All that was posted by PILOT upon locking it was " yeah..this never turns out well.. " A pretty lame assumption and comment concidering it had 25 previous posts that had no problems. If it was such a bad topic, why was it let go so long and allowed so many posts.I am quite sure many other MODS/ADMINS saw it previous to PILOT. Not asking to open it back up.Just adding my opinion on a lame call. As far as I am concerned, it was making people aware of bootleggers trying to trick them into thinking they are buying legit movies.I see no harm in that at all. |
I did appreciate you educating me somewhat on this. I do feel it is possible to discuss bootlegs without promoting the purchase of them. I want to be informed about how slick they're becoming, so I don't repeat mistakes I've made in the past of purchasing them off Ebay.

There were people who started to write how they support bootlegs and/or buy them.. Since bootleg threads never turn out well.. I closed it..I'll open it up, for now..

Why not delete the offending posts rather than closing threads entirely.
