Request: Change my username?

If possible I would like to change my username to:

Dignan

So...???

Thanks!

Why would you want to change your name?

Are you not a boobie?

Are you not a clown?

boobietheclown 05-24-06 05:31 PM

No boobie. No clown. Its actually a song that I never liked by a band(Tripping Daisy) I like.

kantonburg 05-24-06 06:52 PM

I believe X mentioned that once you're over 1000 posts they don't change names.

But I propose a man law that somehow you've managed to compile 1200 posts without me ever noticing I see no problem with it. :D

The Cow 05-24-06 08:19 PM

The forum needs more boobies, not less. -ptth-

Rogue588 05-24-06 08:54 PM

mmmmm...clown boobies

GoldenJCJ 05-24-06 09:19 PM

Hey Boobie, they changed your username to a typo.

I'd like to change my username as well.
how about:
Boobietheclown
or
Mrs.Nesbit

*crosses fingers in hopes those aren't taken yet*

Bugg 05-25-06 01:38 AM

Wow 1200 hundred posts with a name like boobietheclown, and I never even once noticed you before this post.

Dignan? That name sucks. Who in their right mind would want to be a dignan when they could be a boobietheclown? Hell I almost feel like now starting about 4 or 5 polls with a "boobietheclown" option.

Its not a big deal - I just dont use this as a username anywhere anymore. I used to post here a lot more and now I just lurk...

I can just re-register...let me know either way.

Reregistering would be a violation of the forum rules. For name changes our rule of thumb has indeed been that users with over 1000 posts can't have their name changed. If you E-Mail an admin (Geoff, X, pilot or X) they may be willing to make an exception, though I wouldn't get my hopes up.

I call dibs on "Fisty McRapesalot."

Take my word for it when I say that's better than Fisty McRapesalot calling dibs on you. :(

While we're on the topic of name changes, can I have "Johny Boy" changed to "Johnny Boy"? Typos in user names are a bitch.

I figured why make a new thread, it's probably better to save space and post this request here. Anyway, it's not a big deal. It may even be taken already. But if it isn't and anyone gets a free moment, an extra "n" would be nice. Thanks. :D

I always thought it was bobbietheclown.

Shattered am I.

Johnny Boy 05-31-06 12:16 AM

Thanks Dead, gkleinman, X, RandyC, or to whoever the person was who corrected my name.

Mano 05-31-06 09:52 AM

I've been contemplating this for a while and since I'm still under 1000 posts (although just barely) I was wondering if I could have the 365 dropped from my name? Also if possible could I have the "M" capitalized? I signed up here when I was still using AIM with mano365 being a holdover from those days. I'd like to shed those last vestiges of youth. Thanks in advance! :)

The Antipodean 06-03-06 11:36 PM

Wait, does this mean I can finally claim the name boobietheclown as my own??!?
