For Geoff and only Geoff.....I MEAN IT!

I am getting ready to geek up with one of these www.scottevest.com and thought that before I do something, I should see if you can work some mojo for a link to their site or something to make a little coin off my coin. If not, no biggie, just figured it may be a way to filter some cash your way. :)

Geoff doesn't need your money! These Google ads are already raking it in:

Atreus 02-22-06 10:46 PM

I respected kvrdave's wishes and didn't look.

GeoffK 02-23-06 01:40 AM

I applied to their program, I'll let you know what they say.

But thanks... It's so cool you posted this.... It's been rough with the whole attack/yahoo thing and when someone does something cool like this it really brightens my day :)

NotThatGuy 02-23-06 01:50 AM

They have great products. I checked out some of their jackets when I was up in DC at the Spy Museum.

Can I get Geoff's email address?

No,wait, forget I asked.

[quickly runs from thread]

kvrdave 02-23-06 03:53 PM

Sweet. I'll place an order within the next week. Need to do some digging for a coupon, or something. It's an illness, but if I were diabetic, I wouldn't buy insulin without at least getting free shipping. :(

Y2K Falcon 02-23-06 03:56 PM

kvrdave 02-23-06 05:17 PM

kilcher 02-24-06 02:57 AM

Geoff must be bored. He's viewed this thread 361 times.

up to 52 hidden pockets
damn dave, you're gonna be smooth

kvrdave 03-01-06 12:13 AM

Okay, I geeked up for the tactical system without the solar panel, XLT, for a total of $350 plus shipping. Make sure they get you paid.

I put down that I heard about them from DVDTalk so expect the tidal wave. -wink-

Randy Miller III 03-01-06 10:11 AM

I'd probably buy the "Ultimate Hoodie" if it weren't for that big logo on the back.

Very cool (but expensive!) stuff, though.

raven56706 03-01-06 01:29 PM

Bill Geiger 03-02-06 01:22 AM

Okay, I have the jacket. Here is what I think.....

I have only found one thing I don't love, and that is the zippers. They seem a little tough to pull, but hopefully that will ease up.

So, I decided to load this thing up. In went the wallet, two knives, 3 sets of keys. Didn't even phase it. So in goes the 60gb ipod and I hook up the hearphones through the jacket. Seemless. Use one pocket in a sleeve to put my business cards in. Virtually invisible. Another pocket takes my cell phone. Okay, time to get serious. Gameboy SP goes into another pocket. There are a few small pockets that are perfect for my 2 spare games I carry around. Put in an altoids tin....put in one more because the first is just about out. Put in a full handfull of change, right at $8 worth or quarters, dimes, nickles, and pennies. Money clip goes in last. Forgot the nice thing about keys. Each pocket has a clip for your keys to go on. One has a bungie that will let you start your car and drive with it attached if you are so inclined, and the other has a quick release clip. Inside the front pocket is even an elastic band that is made to go around a water bottle to keep it from moving around in case you have to chase down deadbeat renters.

Let me list these:

Wallet
utility knife
3" folding pocket knife
car keys
House keys
Keys to some rentals I am currently carrying
60gb ipod
Gameboy SP
Business cards
2 spare gameboy games
(2) altoids tins
cell phone

It is a little heavy now, but here is what is amazing. You basically can't see any bulges, except in my pants, and I never could get rid of that. Additionally, I don't think I have even used 1/3 of the pockets that are available. And this is without zipping the fleece into it to make a winter jacket out of it.

It was expensive, but this is one of the greatest things I own.

In a couple of different places. Went to a little get together last night and had my inMotion speakers for my ipod and fifth of Whiskey in it with room to spare. Laptop could probably in the back very easily.
