Ignore list question

When someone is on your ignore list, is there any way for quoted material to be ignored too? I finally had enough and put several people in politics talk on ignore, but since they respond to every fucking post, it's having little effect.

I know the ultimate answer is to just stay the hell out of there. I'm hoping this weens me off of it completely.

only way i think this could be done if there was a show/hide feature of quoted stuff like long articles you don't want to read or a quoted member post. But I think this feature would only apply to all members.

But you know what would REALLY be cool? If we could add moderators and administrators to the ignore list. j/k

Here's an idea: how about instead of using the Ignore feature, you just respond to everything sarcastically?

Oh yeah, that's a great idea. -rolleyes-

I agree that would be great if there's ever a way to do it. It sucks to have people ignored and still have to see the dumb shit they post because people have to quote every other thing they post.

Just wanted to make sure everybody got a chance to read this.

Since no one else has responded to this thread, I thought I'd chime in. It would be great to be able to do that. Especially if we could do it for administrators/moderators.

Did you just make up that quote, Phil? Y2KFalcon hasn't posted in lioke 2 years, iirc.

Phil L. 02-17-06 08:51 AM

So no one appreciates my phony YK2 quote? No replies so far? Nothin?

twikoff 02-20-06 08:40 AM

just tell us who all is on your ignore list, and we will all stop quoting them

kvrdave 02-23-06 07:07 PM

-ohbfrank- Only two replies with tired old "fixed" jokes.

Don't know buddy, but it seems like you and I are the only ones that post anyway.

Cygnet74 03-10-06 02:54 PM

is there a way for me to put someone on my ignore list that generates an email letting them know I did it, but also still let me see their posts in case they say something really ignorant that i need to reply to? kthxbye. ;)

Cygnet74 03-10-06 02:59 PM

hello? anyone? uh-oh.

La Bella Rose 03-14-06 07:57 PM

Is there any way I can be put on an anti-ignore list so everyone will be forced to read my asinine comments?

:D

DarthVong 03-15-06 01:26 AM

Jason, where can I get a "fucking post"?
