Image limit per thread?
 

I was posting (a lot of) my pictures from my travel to Singapore (thread). Since I have quite a few pics to post, I have to separate them from post to post because I can't upload them all at once. Everything was fine until my fourth post when I couldn't post my picture with image tags anymore because the software said I have posted too many pics already.

Anyway, not that I'm protesting against the rule, but I would like to know what reason there's a limit for image posting. Because people post a lot of smilies?

How many images max can anyone post in one thread?

On the thread I mentioned above, I eventually just linked them with URL instead of putting img tags. Am I in any kind of trouble for doing that? :)
