I tend to use the "New Posts" search, and I always have to scan over to the "Forum" column to make sure I'm not about to click an adult thread when I'm somewhere I don't want to. But a "new posts except select forums" choice would be good. ;) I would exclude Adult and Exchange most times. The "New posts" search is just so tempting and easy to use there at the top of each page.
