Request: Smilies link on Quick Reply

I'm sure I'm not the only one here who doesn't have the code for every smilie memorized. I've seen other forums that have a link to the list of smilies on the quick reply form. It's quite handy when you need to look up a smilie code and don't have to go to the full reply page.

How hard would it be to add a link to the smilies (http://dvdtalk.com/forum/misc.php?do=getsmilies) beside or underneath the quick reply form?

My personal workaround for that was to bookmark the smilie page (http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/misc.ph...on=showsmilies) and open a 2nd tab (in Firefox). I know that ain't what you asked for, but until such time, an option. :)

Wouldn't that really eat up bandwidth with it having to load up smiles every time you open the thread?

Not hard at all... but apparently, you don't look underneath the Quick Reply form. It's there. ;)

Well holy crap. I didn't scroll down that far, I was looking for something closer to the quick reply form.

Don't feel bad I never noticed that either.
