Suspensions
 

I was suspended recently for 1 week. The suspension wasn't lifted for 9 days. Now, I wasn't crying and wrapped up in a fetal position for those two days, nor drinking myself into a stupor, but here's my issue:

It seems we're quick to hand out suspensions, but not as quick on reinstating people.

Is there not some automated mechanism to deal with this? You know, set the timer for 168 hours and run with it?

You should be suspended for even asking such a question! I was suspended for 30 days. And I'm still not sure why because I never got a straight answer. A week is nothing.

I at least did get an e-mail describing why I was suspended. However, it went straight to my junk mail somehow, so I didn't see it for a few days.

30 days is a LONG time ...

it's not automated..we suspend by hand..and remove by hand..whenever I suspend someone I always tell them to email me or [email protected] if they're not unsuspended by whatever date..

Probably cause it was for 7 business days.

I've never been suspended. The mods and admins are too 'fraid of me. :)

Amazingly enough, Mr. Big wrote that song to tell the story of Mopower's suspension.

I think I'm close to being suspened from every MOD in this form. I'm still hanging in....who's next? ;)

Never been suspended. I'm just too likable.

It's not so bad. Besides having the quick reply, post thread and post reply buttons gone it's basiclly the same layout.

Though it doesn't take much to get a week off.

Why would that be a rule, to not talk about suspensions?

The mods and admins don't discuss why someone was suspended or banned and discourage discussion of it.

Not sure why, it's just always been that way.

I got suspended once....looong time ago....i don't remember the thread, but i do remember that it was all Pharohs fault.
