Request for a "Food" and/or a "Fitness" Forum
From a recent post:
It was his idea, and I definitely agree it would be nice to have.
And further proof we could use a "Fitness" Forum:

Not to mention, there's quite an abundance of runners in the other forum. It really would be nice to have a sub-forum to discuss workout routines, fad diets, get running advice...whatever.
In today's litigious society, it does make sense for a DVD site such as this one to have a forum dedicated solely to health and fitness. If you really think about it, this site practically promotes sitting on your ass constantly and watching DVDs. You never know when some unmotivated, overweight, and/or lazy individual could sue the site and claim it was the very cause of their stroke/heart attack. Sure it sounds crazy, but just look at all the ridiculous lawsuits filed against McDonald's and the tobacco companies. By having said forum...all bases are covered.
And since food is associated with nutrition, fitness, and health...only one forum is needed.

Why do I get the feeling that creating such a forum would lead to censoring the phrase "calories in = calories out"?

@ the poll. Looks like 100% of respondents think we need one or the other -- let's do it!
I say combine them into one "Food and Fitness Talk" and go for it. It won't be a huge forum, but I imagine it'll get more activity than, say, Book Talk. I'd stop by to visit once a day or so...

Naturally, it would be Jeff/Geoff forum because I thought of it first.

I'd like a fitness forum, but I won't vote for it as it would end up dead. Any fitness threads that popped up in sports (or in other years back) didn't get a lot of response.
Just a few people like myself who are big on into fitness posted, then the threads died.
I'm guessing, to be stereotypical, that there aren't a whole lot of fitness buffs frequenting this site as its an sedentary entertainment/coach potato type site as it deals with movies, music, video games etc.
I have no interest in a food forum.
