The new eek, frown, mad and embarrassed are great but the old ones were great too.

I like DVDTalk, but this place has the worst collection of smilies on the web.

Seriously, not only do we have an astonishingly limited selection of smilies, but many of the graphics that we have seem dorky, especially when compared to other sites.

--> same smilies, different colors

--> kind of pointless (sorry, Thor)

--> is this supposed to be a frusterated, head banging on the wall smilie? Too happy for that.

--> not nearly as good as

We have, what, 50 smilies? Not that many. But if we're going to only have a limited number due to bandwith issues, can we at least get some that are a little bit more evocative, a little bit cooler?

Agreed

The new smilies are too cutsey while lacking expression. The old ones, while boring, atleast got the message across.

As for crappy smilies, it's incredibly simple to add your own. Besides, what other forum has a giant dick (excuse me, tree root) as a smilie option?

I'm a fan of this guy:

It's so terrible that it perfectly gets across the right emotion.
