Are anyone else's posts disappearing?

I've had this happen twice in the past few days, but what is strange is only on two posts (one in the CH forum, one in BARGAINS).

I even tried a different browser to see if this was a chaching (sp?) issue but they're definitely gone.

Do you have yourself on your "ignore list?" :)

Seriously, no problems here. Might wanna email a mod to see what's up.

Bushdog 10-17-04 08:33 PM

Has happened to me on occasion. Glitch in the Matrix.

stevevt 10-17-04 08:39 PM

Dabaomb 10-17-04 10:23 PM

I've had a few posts "disappear". :eyeroll:

kvrdave 10-20-04 12:07 PM

Do some of your posts mysteriously disappear?

I think some of mine do. I am sure that I respond to a thread, and later look for my response to know where to start reading again....and it isn't there. This has happened on several occasions.

It is entirely possible that I was going to respond and typed out a response, and decided that what I had to say was not something to post, and thus didn't post. So maybe I believe I posted when I really didn't. But I don't do that often, and generally remember.

But some I KNOW I posted to, and my post is gone.

Ever happen to you?

Kittydreamer 10-20-04 12:09 PM

Nope, but I haven't really gone searching for old posts so there you are.

maybe you aren't hitting the reply button. or maybe bfrank is deleting them

costanza 10-20-04 12:10 PM

i'm off in outer space most of the time so that's usually how i excuse the strange happenings around here, but yes it has happened to me on a couple of occasions.

movielib 10-20-04 12:22 PM

I have thought it happened several times but I always find the post I'm looking for if I search carefully.

That would be my guess.

twikoff 10-20-04 12:23 PM

twikoff 10-20-04 12:24 PM

weargle 10-20-04 12:45 PM

Th0r S1mpson 10-20-04 12:46 PM

Mysteriously? No.

vaporware 10-20-04 01:19 PM

I'm sure of it!!!! At one time I had more posts than twikoff and Jack combined, and yet they kept disappearing. I'm not full of shit.

Re: Are anyone else's posts moving to the correct forums?

:D

Otto 10-20-04 01:26 PM

Happens to me a lot. But in nearly every case I remember that I decided not to submit some post or gave up on a response and just closed the window or something.

MJKTool 10-20-04 02:17 PM

I blame the man.
