Cute. I saw what you posted about Groucho and it was not user friendly. Unless he likes that sort of thing. Frankly I'm surprised you're into that scene. Either way, next time I will report that to a moderator.

I will have you know, I would never use a moderator thong. Well, except for that Andy Capps guy. He's dreamy.

No need to ask Geoff...I'll take the job.

It's certainly possible... but it takes slighly more effort than simply typing up a message and E-Mail it to a mod claiming that someone said something. It's also something so that we can at least attempt to determine if other members saw, or quoted, the same thing. Perfect? No. "...a good idea..." Yes.

Not to drive this into the ground, but I've seen moderators criticize people for quoting inappropriate material like this before.

People will quote the post and say "You're not supposed to do this...." etc. Then the mod will post and say "You know that they're not supposed to do it, yet you repost it? "

I just want to make sure that all mods are on board with what Geoff and Dead have suggested, or this has the potential to be messy.

I can't complain when someone quotes something inappropriate if they are doing so to create a record that an inappropriate comment was made. It does make more work for me, as it's more to clean up. But, I'd personally rather have the evidence and need to clean it up than have to try and guess what really happened.

I'd think fraudulant quoting and/or pasting into reports would be pretty rare. And if and when it happened it would be pretty easy to catch. The accused would tell the mod he/she never posted that, the mods could contact other members who posted in the thread around that time and see if they saw it, etc.

Then suspend/ban the person making the false accusation.

I think that is pretty obvious. When you've been defeated in every way possible, you tattle.

We all learned this in Kindegarten.
