how to attach pics to your thread?

how does one attach a pic in your message?

using the IMG option, it gives a script box, but i don't have any idea how to use it.

is there not a way to attach a pic that you may have on your desktop or in another directory on your hd?

any help would be much appreciated!

You have to host it somewhere.

No. The picture must first be uploaded to someplace on the internet. For instance, if you use Comcast as your internet service provide, they provide you with free webspace. You could upload your files to your webpage directory and then use the IMG tags to post your image here.

For instance, I use Comcast. They give me webspace which is at http://home.comcast.net/~dodgingcars76/

If I upload a file to my webpage, for instance a picture: 24.jpg

Then when I want to post that picture here, I simply use the image tags

[.IMG]http://home.comcast.net/~dodgingcars76/24.jpg[./IMG]

(don't use periods when you do it)

Which would show the picture:

http://home.comcast.net/~dodgingcars76/24.jpg
