Why a Duck?

Why was my Duck thread closed??

I think we have a case of text-book megalomania.

Dear n00b,

You probably don't realize it because you are new here, but duck threads get very volatile and turn into flame wars quicker than "Michael Moore," "Lamecube," or even "Lakers" threads.

Love,
Groucho

Oh, and I'd probably stay away from terms like "text-book meglomania" around the mods and admins. They have been known to quack under the pressure.

Bandoman 06-14-04 11:36 AM

I thought that thread really fit the bill.

I hope no feathers will fly over this thread, though.

NCMojo 06-14-04 11:38 AM

Yeah, Bandoman, I'm down with that.

How about clicking on the "Report this post to a moderator" link in your thread and asking the moderators of that forum this question? That is the proper way to ask these types of questions.

Now that I've read the thread, don't even bother emailing a moderator.

The thread was too lacking of any intelligent thought to stay open. We really don't need new threads concerning anything that just happens to pass through your head.
