Can I change my user name and still maintain my status?

Hey guys,
I have been on this site for 4 or so years now. I started as Bose Pro because I was working for Bose and would post in the HT sections. I have not worked for Bose for over a year now and no longer post in the HT section. I tend to hover around the DVD exchange and Games sections. I also am allowing my girlfriend to post so that she can post DVDs FT and FS. Can I change my user name and still maintain the status of being a user for so long?

Bose Sucks is available.

Your girlfriend needs a separate username.

If you've established a presence here, then they tend to say no. But with your post count, they'll probably allow it.

suggest a new name for them to change it to.

And while we're at it, when using "mocking quotes," you do not quote the "so called" portion. The MLA Handbook has a whole section on moderator mockery.

The comma should be inside of the quotes, too.

Edit: Ha ha, your leeched image comes from an Angelfire site!

Friends don't let friends use Angel Fire.

Ironic that you're being condescending to someone yet you are incapable of spelling the word "clever."

Also, given your sense of humor I'd bet against the mods and admins jumping to give you a hand.

Is the "Forum Feedback and Support" the new "Other?"

I'm right now.

Yeah. They do not offer it to just anyone.

I have never been real interested in being a mod ; however, sometimes a guy likes to be asked now and then

I hope Bose Pro gets a name change becuase it does lead to little comments from others whenever he posts no matter what the actual content of his post is.

I think this can lead to problems over the long run between members.

That was my hunch as to why he wanted it changed. What were his parents thinking?

How about changing it to something that will get a little more respect. I'm thinking "Percy Dovetonsils".
