Hate The Playah, Not the Game
I couldn't help but notice that the thread on Bush's press conference got hacked to tiny little pieces. Now, I completely agree that we all need to follow the forum rules and be nice to one another... but I thought that saying bad things about a celebrity is fair game.
"classicman is a massive tool" = -ohbfrank- "Justin Timberlake is a massive tool" = To me, President Bush falls under the category of a "celebrity", and as such we should be free to say whatever scathing, critical thing that we want, as long as it stays on topic and does not provoke the Secret Service into paying a little visit to Kleinman, Inc. You could say that it runs the risk of upsetting those that support the President or the Republican party... but how is that any different than everybody jumping on the "I Hate George Lucas" or "Sylvester Stallone Sucks" bandwagon? Passionate supporters still can get upset, and if they turn around and start up with personal attacks, that is their problem, right? Right? |
Bush isn't just a celebrity, he is our president. And post 9/11, you are either with him, or with the terrorists. Give him our support.
Shame on the Democrats for even trying to run against him in these times, and shame on Congress for keeping term limits for the executive office in place. |
and this a feedback thread... how?
