What's an ICQ # ?

I was looking at my profile & was wondering what an ICQ number is? I am, also, wondering how some people can include their dvd collection with their signature? What does this mean & how can I include my collection of dvd's? (If someone wanted to look).

ICQ is a chat program, and your ICQ # is how people contact you on the program (I think... I don't use it for person-to-person messaging).

For your sig, click on the User CP button in the upper-right hand corner of your screen, and then click on Edit Profile. You'll have to use vB code instead of HTML in your sig for links, though... here's how you do that.

Like what Static Cling said, ICQ is a chat program (like Yahoo Messenger, MSN Messenger or AIM). ICQ number is like your nickname, but they gave you the number instead of you picking your own. It's kinda like in a prison, being numbered like that... ;)

Thanks for the info Mr. Cling! I don't think I need to use the ICQ # at this time. However, I did figure out how to put a link to the "My DVDProfiler" page in my DVD Talk profile, in case someone needs to know. Also, thanks for not ripping me about asking stupid questions. Some people around here can be pretty harsh on new members, but you're smooth. Thanks!

You spelled your location wrong, bro.
