Question About Suspensions
If someone gets suspended, does that person get an e-mail letting them know the reasons why? A couple of Otters have recently been put on suspension -- I won't name names -- but I don't know if even they know why they've been suspended.
|
Yes they do. You really think they wouldn't even know why?
|
How about rack and pinion steering?
|
My words of advice on suspensions: double wishbones are always preferable to struts. Don't cut springs, buy proper lowering springs.
|
Yes, and if you get springs, make sure you upgrade your shocks as well. Or just go ahead and get adjustable coilovers. And please get a camber kit if your car needs it. No use in making your car look dumb with a humongous amount of negative camber.

Funny you mention this, I just had my anti-sway bar replaced.

Ha ha, bando forgot to get the camber kit when he slammed his civic. sucker....

Does it really save on wear and tear by slowing down to 15 mph over railroad tracks?
|
No one has ever sent me an email about my car. Does that mean my car has no suspension?

This reminds me of the time I clicked on the Questions About Trannies thread. I haven't been back to the Mature Forum since then.

Sure, you can lower a truck by cutting coils on the front springs, and using lowering blocks in the back. It's a cheap way to go. But it's not the right way to go if you want to avoid a bumpy ride and costly repairs down the road. |
but i thought that you are required to have a valid e-mail account to post on DVDTalk?
