Search function drives me batty

OK. I'm very familiar with doing searches on the Internet. But the search function on this site is useless to me. I have tried several times but have never conducted a successful search. Please tell me what I'm doing wrong.

No matter what I try to search, no matter how long the string of words, no matter how short the string of words, I get a response that says that my search string (???) (replace question marks with the last word I put into my search string) is less than the minimum string of four words.

Grrr. What's the deal?

This topic has been addressed before. You might want to try a search.

The letter limit is to save bandwith.

But I agree, the search feature is pretty useless and I rarely bother with it. I usually just skim a page or two of the forum before posting, if it's a duplicate the mods can close it.

Yeah, try looking for a review of Talk to Her. Geez...it's worthless don't even use it.

It's pretty funny that on a DVD site you can't even search for "DVD."

Actually, the <I>word</I> has to be a minimum of four <B><I>letters</B></I>. Maybe that's where you're running into trouble.

Still, I agree. The search function is pretty bad.

I never use it either. I'll usually end up going over to HTF if I want to search for something of important use.
