Strikethru text?
I've seen it done before, but I can't find out how to do it with vB code.
Anybody know? Thanks |
I'm not aware of how to do it with vB code, but it works fine in HTML.
<strike>The jury will disregard this statement.</strike> becomes <strike>The jury will disregard this statement.</strike> das |
<s>The jury will disregard this statement.</s>
becomes <strike>The jury will disregard this statement.</strike> as well. |
ehh.. explain please?
|
<s>what the hell??</s>
|
Sweet! I've always meant to ask about that! Now the mystery is how you were able to type the syntax without the strike actually happening??
|
In HTML, there is a tag that you can use to display > and < without them being read as part of another tag.

You can quote our posts to see what we did, but in short, <B>&<I></I>lt;</B> and <B>&<I></I>gt;</B> are escape codes to display < and > without them being treated as tags. das |
<s>You could just have "s" not "strike" in the brackets too</s>
Also, you can do a "quote" of any cool stuff you see to view the quasi-HTML that was used. |
