Only moderators and administrators can lock a thread. If there is a thread you started that you want locked, you can use the "Report this post to a moderator" link to ask that it be locked.

The follow up question:

How do I get banned

Answer:

After the admin of the site posts:
"You are suspended and if you sign back up while suspended you will be permanently banned from our forum. We do not tolerate personal attacks"

You sign up for another account.

Did he delete all those "Who is the Best [Insert Position] in NBA History Who Played for the Utah Jazz and is Named [Insert Utah Jazz Player]?" threads?

As annoying as they were, the "Try to Convince Me John Stockton Isn't the Best Point Guard in NBA History" one was kinda funny. :)
