Mods: Can You Trim It Down?

Can a mod trim down the Rank Them As You See Them thread? There's a lot of fluff around that you have to sort through to get to the good stuff -- the meat of the matter. Posts like "Hey Spiderman comes out" that were made in March and not updated since then.

Please?

And while you are at it, can you guys get a Brazilian as well.
Please?

[Bando gets a Brazilian in preparation for that distant day when he will be the second Mr. Mini. Oh yes, that day will come.]

;)

If people had followed my guidelines their wouldn't be any fluff. It was supposed to be just lists and no discussions, but I guess I was expecting too much for DVD Talkers.

Some people just can't follow the rules, I guess.

Don't you mean, Mods: Can You Trim It "Down There"?

The Bus 12-18-02 03:11 PM

So I guess that's a resounding no, then? I wanted to put together a total 'best of dvdtalk/forum 2002 list' but it would be hard to wade through all that... Oh well :)

This is a sort of busy time for most everyone on the planet... I'm sure someone will get to it when they have time.

It's a real pain to "trim" down a thread.

The page that lets you do this only shows a couple lines of text from the post, so you're constantly going back and forth between the delete post page and the actual thread to see whether the post is a good one or not. And it's all one long page which makes it easy to lose your place; and the way things are lined up makes it hard to tell which post is which.

The lack of appreciation for whenever I did things like this is one of the big reasons why I quite being an Admin here!

;) Just kidding!

But it is a royal pain in the ass to do.

 Now we know the real reason! Damn_you all! We miss Blade in the mod lounge, and it's all your fault! You couldn't have been nicer to him, huh?

This thread is a case in point of the original post.

Dang non sequiturs. ;)

And my apologies - I didn't realise that this thread was nearly a year old.

Oops.
