Custom User Titles?
 

I did a search for user titles and didn't see what I'm looking for. I'm just curious as to how some users have what appear to be custom user titles, such as Cinema Gotham, Stealth Moderator, Dream Banned and some others. It's not explained in the FAQ at the top of this forum. Thanks.

There's really nothing much you can do to get one. They just mysteriously appear.

if you seriously want to know...

you dont get them. for a while people could get them but that was stopped due to the extra load on the server or something. they have slowly been creeping back for a few select people (most of these people are regulars in Other). If too many people get them, I'm guessing geoff will crack down and get rid of em all again

Yup, ever since Geoff installed a HAL9000 as the server for the forum, things happen like that.

Dream Banned still makes me giggle when I see it.

I was "dream suspended" for a while, due to a real life dream in which I made a personal attack on a DVDTalk member (and mentioned in a post).

We should be able to buy custom titles. I'd pay for one.

I had a custom title but someone removed it recently. It should read Captain Obvious

Yeah I just noticed recently as well that I am no longer a DVDTalk Jedi Knight...
