Sig options: how about changing the option default?
 

Normally, you have to uncheck the box in the post reply page to not post your sig. How ‘bout reversing that, so you have to check the box to post your sig?

(This assumes that by not posting a sig, there is a savings in bandwidth.)

I know it sounds kinda silly, but maybe consider giving it a try for a week?
