Thumbs up for DJQBert review/ ad
the ads for dvds on the forum should be varied a bit more--i really think it's cool when i see a dvd that might've gone completely under my radar but then i can click and read a review and/or order it online.
This happened to me just now with the DJ QBert review. It seems I usually end up ignoring those ads because I've already seen/heard of/know I'm not interested in most of them. (Lord of the Rings won't be catching anyone by surprise when it comes out) But this ad got me to click on it, read the review and then buy it in only a few minutes. I know some of the links support the forum more than others (i'm guessing the independent site selling the DJ QBert DVD doesn't give you a cut at all :( sorry), and shuffling up a few more uncommon dvds in the mix gets people looking at the ads and purchasing more of them. so keep those non-mainstream reviews/ads coming :> |
THANK YOU for the feedback. I really appreciate it. I have been making a real effort to feature other great DVDs besides the majors.

I already gave buskerdog props for the review, and posted a link to it on qbert's message board. You might get a whole 3 or 4 new visitors thanks to me!

Eh, folks, thanks for the props. Qbert's disc is awesome. It recommend it highly. Also, I'm looking forward to the eventual release of Scratch on DVD. It's great.

Originally posted by Aghama I've been waiting for it on DVD since I saw it in the theater several months ago, I'm glad it was worth the wait. For those who haven't read the review... |
