When I configure Norton, there is no "Web Content" tab. I tried going into the control panel to change things as well, I'm lost as where to go. All I can find is a list where I can list sites I always allow cookies from.
I have Norton 2004, and XP.

I'm the same as JP5683. With Norton 2004 it seems to be all or nothing. I can't seem to figure out how to adjust this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

yay! a reply to my two month old post!
I can edit my posts now, because a very nice member sent me a link to editing one of my posts, now I can cut n paste that code from the email into another browser window, and adjust the post id#.
But I still cannot start threads.
I've adjusted everything I can find.
Allowed cookies for dvdtalk.com ads.kleinman.com kleinman.com ads.dvdtalk.com
turned off pop up blocker when viewing dvdtalk, disabled norton when viewing dvdtalk.
I really would like to be able to start a few threads but it's just not working.

ANDREMIKE,
At the bottom right of each of your posts, you should see an Edit button. Just click on that.
I haven't fully explored this, but it seems you can now only create a new thread from the thread list page. You used to be able to do this within any thread, but not anymore it seems.
If you can't see these buttons then you probably have ad blocking software that's blocking ads.kleinman.com which is where the button graphics are stored.

I have the setting in 'Content' to 'Low' for cookies. When I had it 'Medium' even though I told it to allow for dvdtalk.com, kleinman.com ads.kleinman.com, the edit and start new thread buttons would not appear.

You can show pics that are somewhere on the internet. This is easily done using the image tags in the code. Specifically, type [img] before the full URL of the image and [/img] after the url.
So for example, if the picture is located on the internet at:

When you do that, it will come out as:

A common mistake is for someone to try to post a link to a picture file on their harddisk, so the img is from c:\mypics\etc That will not work.

My sig doesn't seem to work even though it follows the correct format. It's supposed to lead to my dvdaf collection but instead leads to some Microsoft page. The correct URL is in there, I have no idea why it's going to the wrong page. Anyone know why this is happening?

Just a suggestion. I think <b>twikoff</b> should maintain his VP status like we do in real government. VP Emeritus or something to differentiate between the present office holder?

If I want to post a picture with animals showing their "naughty parts" or doing something naughty, would that go in the adult section or otter? Just curious....
