The HERO factor (about post counts)
 

Well as you all know the set up is this:
What are the different names I see for DVDTalkers and how do they change?
They'll change automatically as your post total increases.
New Member - 0
Member - 10
Senior Member - 250
DVD Talk Addict - 1000
DVD Talk Evangelist - 2000
DVD Talk Mentor - 3000
DVD Talk Icon - 4000
DVD Talk All Star - 5000
DVD Talk Hall of Fame - 7500
DVD Talk Legend - 10000
DVD Talk Hero - 25000
DVD Talk Godfather - 50000
DVD Talk God - 100000


I'm about to reach 25,000 with a 1,000 more. Now its come to my attention with the help of X that there is no such change at that point. there is no hero, and for that matter. the system max's out once you reach 64k... now.. whats up with that? Well any insite? I was kinda looking forward to getting a new title I mean, I have had the LEGEND status for close to 15,000 post.. usually it changes after a few thousand.

any help or feedback would be cool. :)

(and yes.. i do have a life, a girlfriendwho i met here by the way THANKS DVDTALK! )

well atleast I take something from him before he takes my post count away. ;)

The solution seems pretty easy to me. Amend the rules so that people with more than 25000 posts are allowed a special title, which changes every subsequent 25000 posts.

I do like DVD Talk Whore.

Rule #1 about post counts...

Maybe when it hits 25,000 the status should be changed to Banned. ;)

I know it hits a max, so we might as well at that point. ;)

How about this, once you hit 25,000 you get reset back to zero and "new member" status...

that would be a change in a title and give you something to work towards too :)

they already tried that when I hit 20,000 I cried and moaned and then it was over and I got my title back.

Your title could be changed to "Soon to be passed by Twikoff"
