Request for Archived Thread

I nearly got sick going through old posts, and thinking that this thread might have been lost (since I've noticed A LOT of old stuff has been deleted for space considerations).

http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthr...hreadid=123602

Anyway, I may not have a whole lot going for me, but this was one of the more memorable threads and it seemed to have gotten quite a response (it even got posted over at HTF and was poorly-parodied itself for some Ewoks thing by a fanboy).

Anyway, as one of my few shining moments at DVD Talk, and a joke that is on par with the archived running Das Boot joke, I respectfully request this thread be archived.

Much thanks in advance! :)

A related question: how long are each of the forums set to keep threads?

I believe it is run on a forum-by-forum basis as sort of a cleanup activity every once in a while. I might be wrong on that though.

However, if you run a search, you'll see that less-visited forums like DVD Reviews go back well over a year, while forums that get the most traffic like DVD Talk and Other only go back a few months at most.
