Crossover Threads?

Does the forum software allow threads to exist in multiple forums? The dueling Tiffany threads in Other and Music Talk got me to thinking that this could occasionally be a useful, when the topic of a thread truely straddles a couple forums. I realize this could be a pain to moderate; I suppose I'm more curious than anything.

I think the threads need to pick a single home. The Tiffany thread is a perfect example. It was well established in Music Talk before the Other thread came along.

Well, the mods don't think so, as evidenced by the current twin Nintendo threads.
