because those last few digits in the web address screw it up...plus a knowledgable admin once informed my dumb*ss that the site might not allow remote tie-ins...

Thunderball - I think you have your image tags wrong or something. Even an image that is too big will load if it is done right.

I was just commenting that the image was too big for the forum to display properly (not that it was too big to load at all). I try to use 640X480 or less unless I am really after the quality and then I will put 800X600. Anything larger, like your pic, throws the thread out of wack.

I just watned to see what kind of "top quality" pics my camera could take, that's all

Looks good, but the bong is not a challenge ;)

try some sunset pics or try taking a picture of something that is black against a white wall using the flash. Sky is rough, and sometimes black items will come out green on crappy cameras.

help

I know, stupid question, but how do you insert a pic that is on the hard drive? Thanks for helping a newbie...

First you have to upload it on to a site, then you copy the address (right click, properties) and put that in [ img ] tags. Hope this helps.

funny man 01-03-02 09:08 PM

okay, say there is a pic on the DVDforum main page (the logo) that I want to insert, doing what you said this should work...

No problem.

All the smileys are listed here:

Or did you mean smileys like this?:
