My thread gets closed, but mycock stays open?
I don't understand the reasoning why my thread would be locked but another thread with the words Mycock twice in the title remains open? And why didn't the mod who closed my thread leave their name or explain why?

Just a guess, but maybe because yours was devoid of content? :)
Don't know why no reason was left in the thread, but sometimes moderators get pretty busy and don't have a lot of time to comment on everything. Oh, and a good urologist might be able to help you better with the second part of your question. ;) |

Originally posted by J-Dubya It isn't any more idiotic than many other threads that get posted in the Other forum. Besides, I would consider 16 reply posts to constitute 'content.' |
mycock thread: a bunch of juvenile joke posts. Borderline padding perhaps, but at least it's coherent.
your thread: a bunch of random posts that were absolutely pads. |
Originally posted by Alyoshka I would agree that on some level association threads are inherently devoid of any content. Actually, didn't they get banned at one point but are now back? This always confuses me. Makes it difficult to discern what is appropriate and what is inappropriate to post or pad. But even before that, we always closed threads that were blatant pads. Joke threads have always been welcome though (as long as they don't violate the rules or take up too many front page thread slots). |
