Forum....Slow......
I'm on a T1 and it often takes four to five minutes to load a page. Assuming it loads at all.

You might be running into some net congestion, because it's loading just fine for me.

Haven't had any problems and I'm usually the first to notice. Have you tried any traceroutes?
Open a DOS window, type "tracert www.dvdtalk.com" and then enter. Copy and paste the results here. |

looks like packets are getting dropped at:
12.123.200.106 (gbr1-p51.ormfl.ip.att.net) What does that mean? Should we move to the computer forum? |

You better do a cut and paste from the DOS prompt though. Just drop down the actions box on the upper left hand of your dos window (open DOS in a window) and then do Edit->Mark (drag your mouse over the text you want to copy) and then Edit->Copy to get it into your clipboard. This is from my Win2K DOS window, yours may have slightly different names. You'll need to get a good traceroute too so they can see the IP of the problem links instead of just *'s. |
