Forum timing problems?
 

I've seen several cases in the Other Forum where a post will appear above posts that were made later. Sometimes people quote posts and the post ends up appearing below the quote. In one case, someone's post even appeared above the thread starter's original post! What's going on?

This may or may not be related, but I've also seen some threads stay above threads that are bumped later. Also, the little folders on the left edge of the page aren't always changing from red to yellow when I've read all the posts in the thread, but sometimes they do change color. Sometimes a refresh fixes this and sometimes it doesn't. Is anyone else having this problem?

I've noticed this as well, and more recently, I've also noticed some of my posts have simply disappeared. I don't always go back and hit a thread I've posted in right away, so I have no idea how long it took. But in this thread http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthr...hreadid=161439 I went back the following day and my one and only post was still there. Today, it's gone.

Have you noticed this in any of the other forums?

I've only noticed this in the Other forum. But since that's where I spend 95% of my time, I can't really say about anything else.

Like CrashMan, I spend most of my time in Other, so I can't comment on the rest of the forums either. I can say that it's still happening though.

Edit: Here's a great example of the problems. It's hard to even figure out what order the posts should be in.

I noticed this too, but it only seems to be when buford t posts.

Don't know if that has something to do with it

I finally saw it with someone other than Buford.
