Question and comment about new Other Forum ads

Geoff, I'm not sure whether or not you get more advertising money for click throughs alone, but on the off chance that you do, I decided to click on a few of the new ads in the Other Forum. Some of them seem to be broken, either sending me to the wrong site or to the DVDTalk main page. Some of them work fine though. Do you actually make more money from click throughs? I'd be happy to do anything I can to help with the bandwith costs.

Ditto here... I clicked on the Best Buy ad and *boom*-- main page. I repeated the process just to make sure I hadn't done something wrong.

Thanks for the heads up. I had to re-create a table in the DB that was corrupted.

Should be fixed!

I still keep getting broken links in every forum and a message dialog that comes up saying, "The page you are trying to view is attempting to redirect you to another site" or something to that effect. I have to click this once for each banner that comes up in the row of 4 across the top.

Fix this :)

What browser are you using? And do you ever have issues clicking on banners on other sites?

IE 5.00 on an NT platform

No

It only happens about once or twice an hour and shows as broken ads regardless of whether I click on Yes or No.
