search function not working right?

I searched all forums for "others" and got no results. I searched titles and contents. I know of 2 threads from today that should have been returned as results. What's up?

I was trying to find the edited poster pic to post in a thread about the movie

Seems totally wacked. Searched "Who" in Talk and got nothing and "Under" in International again with no result. There are threads with these in the titles that should have shown up.

Yup, I noticed that several days ago. The search engine just doesn't seem to like the words "other" and "others."

I suspect that there are a few undocumented "join words" and "other" is one of them.

Using the <b>*</b> suffix often seems to "fix" apparent anomalies: "<b>other*</b>" works, for example.
