Why can't I post a picture from Photopoint?

When I try to it just links to it. Is there a secret I'm missing?

Like this one for instance.

Are you using the [img] tags?

You need to put the URL between the tags:

http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?...574&p=55010479

Should come out as:
http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?...574&p=55010479
