Should "Voting" count as "Posting"?

I have voted in numerous threads and noticed that it does not effect my post count. Should "x" number of votes equal a post?

What are your thought?

You should have made this a poll. -wink-

Seeing as how voting isn't posting, it shouldn't count as posting.

Also, seeing as how posting isn't important, we shouldn't care about how many posts we get "credit" for.

does it really matter? I didn't think post counts were still something people worried about.

don't care about it as post counts are irrelevant to me.
what i'd like to see is threads bumping to the top each time someone votes. i think threads should go to the top everytime someone makes a contribution to it.
any news on wether that's possible with the new s/w?

post counts are lame all they do is remind you of how much of your life has been wasted by sitting in front of the computer.;)(look at my post count im sick too.)
