Geoff, forget about T-Shirts, how about "Iron yourself DVDTALK Logo designs"?

I was thinking that perhaps, it's a better idea, to do DVDTALK Ironing logos that you buy and iron yourself on whatever shirt you want it on, rather than buying the entire t-shirt, in which probably not everyone is going to be content with. I was thinking about 3 logo options in which there is a lot of variety out there for everyone.

Isn't this idea, less expensive and more convienient? You can paste the logo where you desire!

What ya think? A stupid idea?

just wondering, can't you do this on your own? you can buy iron on paper for inkjets, print it, iron it, take a pic of it, post it

Epson makes those. They're pretty neat. Of course, you need access to a color printer and they come out kinda light. Plus they need to be on white or very light shirts. Still, they're fun to mess around with. Yeah, if anyone does this, post a pic.

oh iron on tshirts. i wondered about the iron yourself comment. I thought it might be some sort of tattoo thing.

I just figure using an iron on yourself might hurt too much

I would prefer a nice ready made shirt. but then i am lazy be nature

That would be cool! I'm sure there is someone on this board who is a graphic designer who could post some reverse DVD Talk logos that we could download & print out on iron-on paper!

Anyone?

If you have an epson printer (and probably most other kinds) in the printer window there is an option to reverse the printout for exactly this purpose.

Nope.. I have an HP. Plus, I'd like to have a good looking logo to print!

Maybe this will work

Quite some time ago, the leader of a musical group got some local Minneapolis Community College art students to come up with some original logos for the band (his sister was an instructor and she made it an assignment). The results were staggering. So many of them were so good, the bandleader was unable to make a selection. Forget the previous confines of the limp logo you have, let some artists take a shot.

Why don't these posts bring about the intended purpose? It seems like 847.6 years that we have all been "talking" about DVD Talk stuff! Over & over!

Is there anyone out there that REALLY can provide a solution (other than a comment or DIY)?

If you are out there & will help, you will be promoted to DVD Talk GOD in my book!
