Now here me out.
The Oubliette forum would be for banned and suspended members(not that I'm thinking of attaining either status).
[1]Regular members(not suspended or banned) could not post in this forum, but we could read the threads.

[2] You would be allowed to make personal attacks on each other.(not on members in good standing though). The no foul language and no obscene pic and links rules would remain.

[3]There would be no post counts. If you were suspended, you would not get any credit for posts during the time you were in the Oubliette forum.

[4] The forum would be moderated by suspended members who would be trying to get un-suspended by good behavior.( This would be done by) All suspended members could delete post in this forum. (banned members would not be able to do this.)

[5]All banned and suspended members would be given Bushdog's homephone #. This would be ONLY for the purposes of informing him of a still problem member.

:D

I second that.

Why don't we just have a fake DVDTalk that people who are banned or suspended go to. They don't know about it, and when they login it just takes them to the 'fake' forum. The only postings in there will be computer generated ones and the ones from Banned members. The banned member will never know what happened, and the computer generated postings will be come more and more inflammatory until fake DVDTalk becomes too hostile for the banned member.

Yeah, and then we'll add flying cars and a really cool robt that when you push a button it gives you a Coke.

I am not sure if this is a joke or you are serious. For some reason it just does not make sense to have a no personal attack rule on DVD talk, then suspend members for breaking rules, then give them a forum for more attacks to take place once suspended. Then you add to the issue posts would not count towards post counts like that makes any difference in the first place. I could comment more, but I have already said too much on an suggestion that does not warrant little if any discussion.

Yeah, we could have a VirtualJackSkeleton® that combines random words into sentences and posts them 400 some odd times per day. No one could ever tell the difference!!!
