is there anyway to "watch a thread" as in mark it and then when you log back on it can be stuck to the top so you dont have to fish through pages of other threads?

That's a feature in VB2, the ability to "subscribe" to threads and/or forums. Not available in this version, and since the new version probably won't be making a return for a while yet, if at all...
You could always just bookmark threads you're interested in... |
You can post in a thread and set your profile so that whenever someone replies, it emails you. Not what you want, but its better than nothing.

As <b>TCHJ</b> intimates, you could set up a DVD Talk folder in your browser and in there save the links to the various threads in which you are interested.
Another option is to keep a wordprocessor file on your desktop and save the URLs to that. Also handy for composing posts offline. :D And when I want to check up on the threads to which I've recently contributed I just do the obvious thing with the search function. |
